Class 1 Tipper Driver in Leeds required.

About the role

As a Recruit A Driver HGV Driver, you will be flexible to meet requirements of the business and have a proven track record in a similar type of role for at least 1 year. Our client is a Food Distributor who services businesses nationwide.

What you need to know:

• Working times:6:30 - 16:30, plus overtime when necessary.
• Shift pattern: Monday - Friday.
• Work Load:

- Safely and efficiently operate a commercial truck to transport goods to various locations
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques to collect sand/stone from sites
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatch to receive delivery instructions and updates
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers

What you must have:

• Must hold a valid Class 1 UK license for a minimum of 12 months.
• Must have tipper experience driving a Class 1 vehicle within the last six months, ideally 12 months.
• Must have no more than 6 points on license for minor offences.
• Must hold an in-date Digital Tachograph Card.
• Must have an up-to-date CPC Qualification Card.
