Our client based in Birmingham are looking to recruit a driver who can drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle for multi drop work delivering and installing furniture to either customers homes or to the shops which showcase and sell the furniture (Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be given to the right applicant). The hours are Monday-Friday 07:30-16:30 although with distribution these may change slightly due to traffic and hold ups out of your control. You will be driving a 3.5 Tonne vehicle (Non Tacho) the majority of the time but would need you to hold a 7.5 Tonne licence to cover the 7.5 Tonne lorry for holidays and illness. You will be working with an experienced drivers mate who has worked for the company for a while so knows the processes and you can learn from while you are on the job.

You will need to have a can do attitude, and be able to lift, You will need to perform vehicle checks and report any defects to your line manager to get them rectified.

A permanent position will be offered to the successful driver.
