We are recruiting a contracts manager for our client with emphasis on fire stopping.
Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the management and delivery of a number of projects ranging from £40k to £2M, ensuring efficent and timely completions.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a Contracts Manager role
* A thorough knowledge of up to date legislation and Fire stopping products.
* Ability to undertake site surveys to scope and find solutions to the issues presented
* Understanding of the importance of collating evidence for all completed works using systems such as bolster or site audit pro.
* Capable of overseeing numerous projects and the management of both directly employed operatives and sub-contractors.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to produce health & safety documentation in line with current legislation.
* Excellent people management skills
* Suitable Contract Manager qualifications
* SMSTS
Ideally you will have a Surveying/Building degree or equivalent qualification and experience in contract management in a maintenance/refurbishment environment.
