As a member of the Senior Management team, you will lead the Finance team in providing high quality, meaningful and reliable information. You will work closely with the leadership team, to contribute to the overall strategy of the business and add value at all levels. Job Description / Responsibilities
• Lead the finance team to deliver accurate and reliable information to add value and assist with strategic decision making
• Complete all local and group reporting to strict deadlines with relevant conversion to IFRS where necessary
• Liaise closely with Parent Company management and finance teams
• Conduct Monthly P&L, Balance sheet and Ledger reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial information
• Lead the annual financial audit process, including the production of the statutory accounts
• Production of annual budgets
• Oversee all internal audit controls including J-SOX
• Maintain financial policies and departmental operating procedures
• Assist in the renewal of company insurances
• Deputise for the Finance and IT Director as required.
Key skills and experience:
Essential:
• Fully Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years PQE with manufacturing industry experience
• Highly effective communicator
• Understanding of Standard costing calculations and methodology
• Previous demonstrable experience in a similar Management role
• Highly experienced with MS Office
• Experience with BI tools
• Knowledge of SOX
Desirable:
• Knowledge of ERP / MRP systems, preferably Aurora System21
• Understanding of Kaizen principles
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am- 4.45pm Friday 8am- 12.30pm
