Salary: £95 - £110 per day

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our Secondary School in Southend as soon as possible. If you are someone who enjoys working with young people and thrives in a dynamic school environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain on task and engaged in their work.

* Follow the lesson plans provided, providing support where necessary.

* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

* Manage student behavior effectively and in line with school policies.

* Assist with general classroom duties and provide support to students with additional needs when required.

* Ensure students are safe and following school rules.

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with children or in a school setting (desirable but not essential).

* Strong communication skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.

* A positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude.

* Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

* A DBS check (we can assist with this if needed).
