Teaching Assistant Job Available in Andover starting January 2025

This Primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their school from January 2025, initially for 6 weeks until February half term but could be extended for right Teaching Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to pupils in Key Stage 1
Implement tailored strategies to support the child's communication and interaction needs
Foster a calm, nurturing, and patient learning environment
Work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to ensure that childrens needs are met effectively
Monitor and report on the childrens progress, adjusting support as necessary Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children with Key Stage 1
A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with the child
Understanding of early years development and transitionIdeally you will have previous experience working in a school environment
