Overview of the role

This role is focused on supporting the Creative Studio team in creating and delivering high-quality marketing communications to promote Hays' profile and reputation as the UK's leading specialist recruiting expert.

We're looking for an experienced, proactive Junior Designer, responsible for creating assets for internal and external use, across the UK and Ireland region. The successful candidate will work on projects for multiple audiences, including job seekers looking for career advice,senior leaders searching for insights to help build their workforce, as well as informing our employees of business initiatives and strategies.

Your New Role

  • Creating designs based on Hays' brand guidelines and templates for a varietyof project types, including:Recruitment advertising | Brochures/PDF reports | Internal/External communicationsSocial media graphics | Paid advertising assets | Web assets
  • Taking small-medium briefs from colleagues within the department and around the business
  • Assist the Head of Marketing Activation as needed on larger creative campaigns/projects
  • Working with all other members of the Creative Studio to assist on projects
  • Manage own projects and working closely with stakeholders within the department andaround the business
  • Assist with 'housekeeping' e.g. managing digital assets
  • Ensure all work is conducted according to the agreed creative process: delivered on brief,on spec, checked, approved and on time
  • Help to improve quality of design and being an active member of the creative process

Key Requirements for success

  • Design qualification
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop & Acrobat)
  • Ability to work on projects as part of a team and individually
  • Organised with good attention to detail
  • Good creative skills
