About the School:
We are partnering with a dedicated primary school in Hemel Hempstead that is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all students. They are seeking a talented Primary KS2 SEN Teacher to join their team and make a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs.
Role Overview:
The school is looking for an experienced Primary SEN Teacher who is passionate about supporting and teaching students with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEN education, with a proven ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
We are open to taking Overseas Trained Teachers who have obtained a QTS. We are open to looking at unqualified teachers as well.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver tailored lessons for children with SEN, meeting individual needs.
Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to create a supportive learning environment.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
Engage with parents and external professionals for holistic support.
Monitor and track student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.
Foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes social and emotional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. We are open to looking at unqualified teachers as well.
Significant experience working with SEN students in a primary school setting.
Proven experience in a London-based school, understanding the local context.
Strong knowledge of various SEN conditions and effective teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and improving outcomes for SEN students.
