Structural Design Engineer - Tekla
£60k + DOE

Excellent progression opportunity with a structural steelwork supplier managing full projects through design, manufacture, and installation.
Initially starting as a senior engineer with a view to progressing into a senior management role, the role would suit someone looking for their next career move.

As the Structural Design Engineer you will:
Producing steelwork designs and calculations
Working from architect GA drawings to create Tekla models
Producing fabrication drawings for manufacture and installation drawings
Producing bills of material
Liaising with clients regarding technical queries and RFI's
Ensure compliance with industry and statutory standards

As the Structural Design Engineer:
Extensive experience working with TEKLER on steel-framed buildings is essential.
Proven background in producing cost-effective solutions to design requirements.
The ability to manage projects from beginning to end
Experience in developing GA's for steelwork from architect drawings and site measurements
Experience producing fabrication drawings.
Have the ability to work on your own initiative,
Confident communication skills in liaising and collaborating with customers, management, and shop floor
