Job Description:

Providing peripatetic teaching support, training and advice, in educational settings and special schools to enable them to access an inclusive education and thrive. Conducting functional visual assessment to inform on the educational implications of visual impairment and to report to parents, teachers and other professionals the results of assessments. For this role it is essential that applicants have the mandatory qualification for teaching vision impaired children and young people. Successful team-working experience and excellent inter-personal skills are essential.

Minimum Requirements:

* Enhanced DBS on the update service

* Teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE)

* Experience teaching visually impaired pupils

* Good IT skills.
