35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join their Fire and Security team based in Banbury, covering the Midlands area. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the safety of residents by carrying out fire risk assessments, audits, inspections, and surveys across a range of properties. This role offers a mix of site visits and home working to provide flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

* As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will undertake fire risk assessments, audits, inspections, and surveys in line with company policies and procedures.

* You will produce and maintain accurate reports and documentation related to fire risk assessments and remedial actions.

* As a Fire Risk Assessor you will ensure that all fire risk assessments meet established KPIs and comply with relevant safety standards.

* You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, addressing any issues and ensuring effective service delivery.

* As a Fire Risk Assessor you will raise awareness of fire risks and actively promote fire safety measures.

Skills and Experience Required:

* Essential: Level 4 Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment to ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation.

* Proven experience in a similar role such as Fire Risk Surveyor, Fire Risk Assessor, or Fire Safety Officer.

* A strong track record of conducting fire risk assessments, ideally within the social housing or construction sector.

* Solid knowledge of fire regulations, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, and a good understanding of current legislation and best practices.

* Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines, manage workloads, and prioritize tasks effectively.

* Competency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

* A full, valid UK driving licence is required for this role as it involves driving on company business.
