QUALITY ENGINEER

Carbon60 are recruiting for a quality inspector - goods in to work with a major Electronics Manufacturing Service company with 36 years' experience of producing Electronics from 3 manufacturing facilities of modern production space. The company are involved with complete product build, ready tested and delivered to the end user.

This Quality Engineer is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. The ideal candidate is someone who has holds IPC qualifications and is educated to a HNC level 4 in electronics engineering.

Your responsibilities:

As a quality engineer, you will support the development and maintenance of the business management systems by developing a positive quality culture within the organisation.

Support all other departments to ensure they remain compliant.
Leading product quality in production, which would include containment, investigation, correction, implementation and validation of corrective actions.
Assisting in the development of continuous improvement
To assist with the maintenance and development of the quality management system through the following activities:
Developing operational procedures for all departments
Developing a detailed understanding of manufacturing processes, customers and products
And others
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

Ideally educated to HNC Level 4 in a discipline beneficial to the companies needs, such as electronics engineering
Ideally holds IPC qualifications
Experience within a quality positionMonday - Thursday 08:30-17:000 & 08:30-15:30 on a Friday.
