- To produce coffees in a timely manner and to Holroyd Howe standard.
- To assist in the preparation of food and snacks.
- To keep the work area clean and tidy at all times.
- To take an active role in promoting sales through location and company promotions whilst being sensitive to our customers’ needs.

Client Service:
- To ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service and expectations are consistently exceeded.

- To project a willing and helpful attitude to customers; to seek the appropriate knowledge of food items and coffees varieties sold through out catering areas and to keep areas and service counters clean and fully stocked.

- To co-operate with all team members and undertake duties in the kitchen / service areas as requested to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered at all times.
Health & Safety, Food Safety, and the Environment:
- To attend health and safety, food safety and environmental awareness training courses as required.
- To rigorously follow the unit cleaning schedules.

- Observe policies and procedures which are introduced for continually improved food production and services, in liaison with other colleagues as appropriate

- Working Hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Duties:
As a barista, you would:
- prepare the shop ready for opening
- welcome student, take orders and process payments
- prepare and serve coffees, hot snacks, sandwiches and cakes
- clean and tidy work areas, equipment and coffee machines
- check and order new stock
Requirements:
- Residency in the UK
- Childrens DBS
- Childrens Safeguarding
- Unrestricted right to work
- Previous kitchen experience
- Reliable transportation

Qualifications Skills/Knowledge/Experience Required
- Grinding and brewing coffee
- Developing and maintaining expert knowledge of coffee and educating students

- Consistently providing well-crafted, beautifully presented and tasty beverages
- Taking student's orders and receiving payment
- Speaking and interacting with both new and regular customers
- Maintaining a clean and sanitised working environment
- Following health and safety guidelines
- Regularly performing stock checks in the coffee bar and placing new orders
- Following recipes and presentations for food and beverage items, if needed
- Being aware of and following operational policies and procedures
- Being punctual and maintaining regular and consistent attendance
- The ability to work flexible hours and shifts which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends and bank holidays
