V-Recruit are excited to be working in partnership with one of the UKs most forward thinking, recognised and respected Multi-Academy Trusts to recruit a 'Daytime Supervisor', for the purposes of supervising the toilet block throughout the school day.

There is a temporary vacancy in the first instance, starting on the 14th of April, with a view of it becoming permanent if the role proves to be a success.

6.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday 8.15am-2.45pm

£12.50 per hour, with accrued holiday pay.

This role is term time only (38 weeks per year) - if taken on permanently you will receive your full, pro rata salary, with equal payments throughout the year (including school holidays)

Your main duties will be to ensure the provision of a high-quality environment for the students and staff, in all areas of the school and grounds, but namely the toilet block. This will include:

· Replenish stocks and cleanliness of toilet areas throughout the school day

· Ensure acceptable standards of behaviour are maintained during the academy day period

· Earn the respect of the students by modelling outstanding behaviour, manners, speech and appearance at all times

· Ensure positive relationships are made with students

· Work positively with students to prevent them removing food and drink from the dining areas

· Ensuring that the environment is clean and clear from slip hazards

· Intervene in student behavioural issues, using positive behaviour management strategies to bring about improvements in student behaviour.

· Using a radio and potentially a laptop to book students in/out of the toilet areas, and to help track down any missing students

Some additional duties may be required.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a Caretaking/Cleaning/Premises Maintenance-related environment with transferable skills. Training will be given by the existing team regarding the school-specifics of the role, so no school experience is essential.

The chosen candidate will be personable, confident, and professional and take pride in all aspects of their work. We are looking to recruit someone with energy and enthusiasm who will be able to work as an integral part of a busy and hardworking team. Of course, you will have to have excellent personal skills, as you will be working as part of the wider school staff-body ensuring the safeguarding and quality experience of all 1200 students.
