Works Manager - Ship Repair, Poole

As a Works Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

Supervising and monitoring production staff to maintain quality and safety standards
Managing project budgets, materials and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
Building strong client relationships, attending meetings, and resolving technical queries
Overseeing contractors and subcontractors on assigned projects
Ensuring compliance with SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) procedures and company policies
Support Ship refurbishments
As a Works Manager, your skills and experience will include:

Ship repair experience
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and specifications
Previous experience leading and supervising teams, ensuring high work standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for project planning and communication
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise with clients and teams effectively
A valid UK driving licence and a willingness to travel when required are essential for this role.
