At our successful Haverhill branch we are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumbing and HeatingSpecialist.

With busy times ahead and expansion plans underway you will play a key role in the sale of the full range of the branches plumbing and heating products. Saturday working is a requirement for this role and you will be expected to work every other Saturday throughout the year

Responsibilities and Duties

• Giving excellent customer service and sound product advice
• Providing quotations for customers
• Purchasing materials and managing stock levels for the category
• Dealing with customers both face to face and over the telephone
• Taking a proactive approach to plumbing and heating sales, using every opportunity to make or increase a sale.
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Picking and checking orders accurately
• Checking supplier deliveries
• Storing stock safely
• Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment

Qualifications and Skills

• Sound plumbing and heating product knowledge is required for this role
• Previous sales experience in a plumbing and heating merchant environment or a builders merchant environment is essential
• Confident dealing with customers
• The ability to build great customer relationships
• A good telephone manner, excellent communication and interpersonal skill
• Computer literate
