Storesperson / Materials Coordinator. Our client a small manufacturing company part of a larger group are looking for a storesperson on a permanent basis. The role supports the Stores Supervisor in ensuring all works orders are timely kitted, physical stores and computerized records are accurate and work in progress failures are properly processed. The Storesperson will report to the Stores Supervisor. Storesperson duties include:- Run Sales Order Report to ensure Works Orders & Kit are released, and the Despatching of free issue and sales order stock items - Run Shortages report to identify and rectify shortages - Close works orders once checked and completed - Implement Engineering change requests to live orders. - Investigate incorrect physical stock and take corrective action - Receive requisition form, get physical stock and ensure processed in MRP - Explain works order materials variances and put in place corrective actions. - Responsibility for checking goods received function (quantity and quality). Storesperson Skills and experience:- Good IT skills - Systems & Excel - Good written English for report and review processes - Management skills and experience - Capable of lifting and carrying weights to HSE manual handling limits - Able to stand for long periods of time - Ability to use ladders Hours of Work: Monday - Friday permanent days.
