Senior Financial Accountant required for a fast growing Fin-Tech business in London!

£65,000 - £85,000 salary plus bonus & benefits, dependant on experience

Stanton House are partnering with a leading global payments solutions provider known for their innovative approach to financial technology. This is a business who has expanded rapidly and now operates across major markets worldwide.

As the business expands, we are looking to hire Senior Financial Accountants that will support their Product Development team. This person will be at the forefront of finance operations, helping to shape and improve the reconciliation and accounting processes as they continue to scale.

To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA)
  • Practical knowledge of IFRS
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting and compliance regulations
  • A deep understanding of reconciliation processes within a regulated environment
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Commercially astute, articulate, technically strong and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, coordinating with various stakeholders

A little more information about the responsibilities in the role:

  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of key accounts, like scheme debtors and Fx clearing, ensuring data accuracy and identifying any control gaps.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Treasury, and Finance to address discrepancies and enhance data integrity.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, setting up robust processes that strengthen controls and improve operational efficiency
  • Develop clear, thorough documentation for financial close and audit readiness.
  • Engage in strategic initiatives to enhance data quality and strengthen reconciliation processes.
  • Support with the digital transformation across the group and continuously looking at ways to improve processes and systems, collaborating with wider teams when necessary
