Maintenance Engineer

Annual Salary: £30,000 - £38,000pa dependent on experience
Location: Dereham, Norfolk
Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday - 8am - 4.30pmReed Engineering are working with an amazing family run business who need a Maintenance Engineer to join their team! Day-to-day of the role:

Diagnose and correct mechanical and some electrical issues to resolve breakdown situations promptly.
Devise consistent delivery of an engineering strategy across the plant.
Deliver turn-key improvement projects efficiently and cost-effectively.
Engage in continuous improvement initiatives alongside proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs to the plant.
Perform additional duties which reasonably correspond to the general character of the role.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

A team player with excellent communication skills.
Experience working with a food manufacturing company
A Higher National Certificate (HNC) in an electrical, automation, or multiskilled engineering discipline is desirable although not essential, supported by suitable experience.
Enthusiastic and motivated, with a passion for continuous improvement.
Flexibility and cooperativeness to meet business needs.
