About the Role:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial success of projects, providing cost management support from the early stages of tendering to final account. You will work across a variety of interior construction projects, managing the costs associated with suspended ceilings, drywall installations, glazed partitions, carpentry, and SFS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates and budgets for interior projects, including suspended ceilings, drywall, glazed partitions, carpentry, and SFS.

* Measure, price, and submit tenders for new and existing projects.

* Manage procurement of materials, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality.

* Assist with contract administration, including managing variations and preparing cost reports.

* Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the best possible prices.

* Monitor and track project progress, identifying any potential cost overruns and providing solutions.

* Conduct site visits to assess project progress, quality, and any variations that may affect costs.

* Work closely with the project management team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

* Produce detailed cost reports, valuations, and final accounts for clients.

Skills & Experience:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the interior construction industry, specifically with experience in suspended ceilings, drywall, glazed partitions, carpentry, and/or SFS projects.

* A solid understanding of cost management and commercial awareness.

* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

* A degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field (e.g., RICS accredited) is highly desirable.

* Experience using quantity surveying software (e.g., COINS, Buildsoft, or similar) is an advantage
