Location:  Newcastle

Salary Range: £120.00 - £180.00 per day (depending on experience)

Start: September 2024/ASAP

Job Summary of Humanities Teacher:

Theideal candidate will inspire the students to explore the interconnectedness of history, literature, and social sciences while fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a love for learning. The Humanities Teacher will create an engaging curriculum that meets diverse student needs and encourages a deeper understanding of human experiences and cultures.

Job Responsibilities of Humanities Teacher:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to serve standards and promote interdisciplinary learning.
Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters respect for diverse perspectives.
Assess and evaluate student progress through tests, projects, and presentations.
Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve their academic goals.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop projects and initiatives.
Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning experiences.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school community.
Qualifications of Humanities Teacher:

Must be Experienced with QTS, QLTS or PGCE.
Experience teaching Humanities at the middle or high school level is a plus.
Must have a certain degree in the related field.
Strong understanding of educational best practices and curriculum development.
Have to work under every circumstance individually or in a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of all abilities
Must have DBS (updated service) for the safeguard issue of the learners.
