The Role

As a Junior Estimator, you will work closely with the Estimating Director and Senior Estimator, learning the full tendering process and playing a key role in pricing projects between £5-10 million. You will receive structured training and mentorship, developing the technical skills and commercial awareness needed to grow within the role.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Assisting with tender preparation, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing

* Reviewing project specifications and drawings, helping to assess material, labour, and subcontractor costs

* Carrying out quantity take-offs, learning how to measure and price different project elements

* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors, gathering quotes and negotiating pricing

* Supporting in value engineering and risk assessment, ensuring tenders are commercially viable

* Contributing to bid documentation and contract negotiations

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is eager to develop a long-term career in estimating. Whether you are a recent graduate, have some experience within construction, or have worked in a related role such as quantity surveying, this opportunity will provide full training and support to help you succeed.
