Job Title: Retail Assistant

Hours: Part-time, Permanent (18-20 hours per week)
Shift Pattern: Flexible shifts between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm, including weekends

The Role
We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join Spar in Preston. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a retail environment, assisting customers, and keeping the store well-stocked and organized.

Key Responsibilities

* Stacking Shelves: Keep shelves fully stocked and well-presented, ensuring products are fresh and neatly arranged

* Operating the Till: Handle customer transactions efficiently and accurately, providing friendly service

* Customer Service: Assist shoppers with any queries and help them locate products around the store

* Maintaining Store Standards: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and meets health and safety guidelines

What We're Looking For

* A positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to excellent customer service

* Reliability and flexibility to work shifts as needed, including weekends

* Ability to work well as part of a team

* Previous retail experience is a plus but not required—we provide training
