The Senior Highway Infrastructure Engineering Technician Role:

This role is ideal for a motivated professional ready to step into a pivotal position. You'll be involved in all aspects of transport, highway, and civil engineering infrastructure design, with responsibilities including:

Producing detailed design drawings
Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders
Contributing to projects from conception through to completion

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed design drawings for transport, highway, and civil infrastructure projects
Coordinate effectively with stakeholders and ensure seamless project delivery
Utilise Civil 3D for alignment design, ground models, and cut/fill analysis, and AutoCAD for technical drawings
Prepare documentation for S106, S278, and S38 agreements and adoption processes

The successful candidate will bring experience in highway design and civil engineering, alongside technical proficiency and a proactive attitude. You should have:

Knowledge of highway design standards, including DMRB, Manual for Streets, and Local Authority guidelines
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and similar tools such as AutoTrack and PDS Line
A background in preparing technical drawings for infrastructure agreements
Qualifications such as an HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
