Randstad is looking for a Entry level laboratory technician to work with one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. You will be responsible for supporting processes conducted within the R&D sensor laboratories as instructed by Senior Laboratory Technicians or equivalent.

Role: R & D Laboratory Technician (temp role)

Pay rate: £24,000 per year

Location: Witney, OX29 0YL

Shift pattern: Monday - Friday: 8am-4pm

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide support across multiple laboratory areas as required.
• Provides complex and detailed information/feedback to R&D Sensor/Senior Lab Technicians, Laboratory Co-ordinators and other technical groups within the department.
• Carry out routine laboratory activities such as setup of equipment, preparation of testing solutions, and daily routine cleaning activities.
• Support the setup and clean down of experimental tests that are to be conducted by Senior Lab Technicians.
• Ensure that sensor laboratories are always compliant and audit ready.
• Assist in filing and organising laboratory paperwork and archiving activities.

Requirements:

• Some Laboratory and/or Operations experience would be of benefit but not essential.
• All training provided.
• Secondary level education in English & Mathematics.
