Vacancy Title: Principal Cyber Security Engineer

Location: Central Manchester

Salary: £90,000The Company:Lorien are working in partnership with a global sports betting company. With continued investment in the development of their group wide technology, they're now seeking a professional cyber security engineer to be part of the transformation to evolve their security posture. The Role:Your responsibilities will span Engineering, Leadership and Strategy. Working closely with the CIO and InfoSec Manager, as a team you'll be assessing the security posture and then defining a roadmap, outlining the priority remediation work with the end goal of transforming how the business manages security itself.

With the current team structure this role will remain hands-on, ensuring that the configuration and administration is completed to maintain integrity across security in all areas of the online platform and large retail estate. The Skill Requirements:Successful candidates will have a blend of the following:

• Experience defining Cyber Security strategies, ensuring alignment to wider business objectives
• Experience working with a wide range of essential tooling across: Data Loss Prevention, SIEM, Endpoint Protection
• Strong underlying knowledge of Infrastructure Hardening and Network Security best practices (Firewalls/Servers/VPN/WAF/Email/Office 365/etc.)
• Familiarity with securing both public and private cloud environment (AWS/VMware/etc.)
• Confident engagement skills, across both internal and external stakeholders
