Quantity Surveyor - Newton Abbot

Sphere Solutions are working on an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a main contractor to work on a large-scale project.

Suitable candidates will ideally come from a strong contracting background.

Responsibilities will include…..

* Take commercial responsibility for the allocated section of works

* Assist in the preparation of package commercial plans and targets

* Manage monthly project cash and turnover forecasts for all packages whilst preparing and monitoring risk

* Assist the procurement team in producing package procurement documents

* Assist in commercial and contractual discussions with relevant supply chain members

* Final Accounts Preparation

Qualifications and Skills:

* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field is preferred

* Must have a proven background in quantity surveying roles within the construction industry

* Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement, and change management processes.
