About the role: KS2 Teacher: Are you ready to inspire the next generation of curious minds in a warm and inclusive school environment? We're looking for a passionate KS2 Teacher to join our vibrant primary school in Hackney! As our new KS2 Teacher, you'll play a central role in delivering a dynamic and engaging curriculum, tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students. You'll have the creative freedom to design lessons that integrate outdoor learning, project-based activities, and collaborative projects, giving students hands-on experiences that deepen their understanding. You'll also contribute to extracurricular programmes, including arts and drama, supporting our mission to develop well-rounded individuals.

Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold a valid QTS and be eligible to teach in the UK.
• KS2 Teaching Experience: Prior experience teaching Key Stage 2 students in a primary school setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
• Passion for Creative Learning: A genuine interest in incorporating arts, sciences, and outdoor learning into your teaching approach.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Commitment to Inclusivity: An inclusive approach to teaching that respects and supports diverse backgrounds, abilities, and learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver a rich and varied curriculum with a strong emphasis on the arts, sciences, and outdoor learning.
• Engage students through innovative lesson planning and personalized instruction.
• Support and nurture the social and emotional growth of each child.
• Foster a collaborative classroom environment that values each child's voice and participation.
• Work closely with the wider school team.
