Our client, based in Bournemouth has an exciting requirement for a PR & Communication Specialist to join their Marketing department.  Reporting into the Marketing Director, you’ll be part of a team of creatives and will be responsible for implementing and executing PR plans to create brand awareness through targeted activities.  As the interface between internal departments, you’ll play a vital part in communications ensuing activities are completed within a timely manner to a high standard to contribute to company goals.

Responsibilities & Duties

As the successful PR & Communications Specialist you’ll be responsible for:-

  • Producing and coordinating copy and content for campaigns, newsletters, blogs and web
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams to content for landing pages and optimise the user experience
  • Creating copy material for various internal and external documents including months newsletters
  • Brainstorming and creating growth strategies and collaborate with agencies and partners to monitor media placement
  • Providing collateral for advertising campaigns
  • Creating and executing social media and various other campaigns
  • Manage and work with various external agencies to ensure a smooth working relationship. Such as PR agency, local authorities, social purpose charity/agency
  • Analysing customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points

As the successful PR & Communications Specialist, you’ll have:

  • A degree in English, PR, Journalism or similar (preferred but not essential)
  • At least 2 years’ experience within a PR or similar marketing role (ideally within B2B)
  • Strong copy, content writing and proof reading skills and experience
  • Experience with Social Media Management
  • Understanding of cyber security or a tech industry knowledge
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to perform under pressure of multiple deadlines
  • Excellent organisational skills
