Laser Operator 
Location: Leamington Spa
Permanent
Hours:  37.5 hours per week.
Rotating weekly shifts
Shifts 6.00am - 2.30 pm and #removed# Friday and 2.30pm - 11pm and #removed# Friday
Salary: £32,250.09 + Shift Allowance 

A well-established manufacturing company that specialise in heavy duty vehicles are looking to recruit a Laser Operator to join their small team based in Leamington Spa on a permanent basis.

The Laser Operator role:

Operating and running the Laser machines
Manufacturing components to a high standard
Ability to interpret and work to CAD/engineering drawings
Using engineering measuring equipment such as Vernier's, callipers, or Micrometres
Maintaining machinery by cleaning it and making sure it is in working order and checking and ordering materials needed.
Working with multiple types of metal, including stainless steel and aluminium
Removing and cleaning of finished parts ready for Production.
Daily TMP checks and general maintenance of Laser machines, replacing specific parts, nozzles, lenses etc.
Completing your own quality control checks
Completion of documentation
Keeping to tight deadlines and targets

The ideal Laser Operator 

Experience of either Amada, Bystronic or a Trumpf machine would be beneficial.
Machine operating experience
Previous experience of operating laser cutting machines, setting would be an advantage
Excellent communication skills
Has the ability to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to plan and work from own initiative, with minimum supervision
