One of the most exciting projects in the UK is looking for senior mechanical engineers to work on a remote basis to support the engineering capability on a large scale defence and nuclear project

Job title - Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location - Remote
Contract Length - 12 Months
Pay Rate - £45 - £60 an hour (INSIDE IR35)
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the execution of engineering and technical tasks, ensuring adherence to processes and leveraging your domain expertise.
Review, approve, and produce technical reports, designs, calculations, and other essential documentation as required.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with both existing and new clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
Ensure all engineering and technical activities comply with relevant procedures, codes, and standards.
Contribute to safety assessments, identifying risks and ensuring their proper management across projects.
Communicate and manage task and project risks appropriately to mitigate potential issues.
Qualifications & Experience:

A minimum of an HNC/HND in Engineering (or equivalent experience) with significant hands-on experience in the relevant field.
While nuclear experience is not mandatory, candidates from various engineering disciplines are encouraged to apply but candidates with nuclear experience will be favoured.
Experience working effectively in multi-disciplinary teams to complete projects of varying complexity.
Demonstrable experience handling a wide range of tasks across different project types.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with different disciplines and stakeholders
