Job Title: Mortgage Administrator/ Trainee Mortgage Adviser

Salary: £16,546 - £23,712 Basic

Location: Colchester

We are working with a growing independent mortgage firm that is offering a unique Mortgage Administrator role, with full training provided and the potential to progress into a qualified Mortgage Adviser after 12 months.

This is the perfect role if you're looking to enter the financial services sector, gain industry-recognised qualifications, and develop into a Mortgage Adviser.

Salary & Benefits:

• Basic Salary £16,546 - £23,712
• On-going training

• 28 days holiday + Christmas off

Working Hours:

• Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:30 (No Weekends)
• Full-time or Part-time
• Flexible working location including days from home

Desired Experience:

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A strong desire to develop a career in the mortgage industry.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• No prior experience in mortgages necessary; however, a background in administration or financial services is a plus.
• Motivated and eager to learn with a long-term vision for progression.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide administrative support to mortgage advisers and clients.
• Manage client documentation, applications, and compliance processes.
• Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and clients to ensure smooth application progress.
• Handle client inquiries and assist with general administrative tasks.
