🕒 Contract: Temporary / Agency
🗓 Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (Hybrid Working Available)

The Role:

Are you an experienced mental health professional with strong leadership skills? We're working with a busy and supportive Adult Mental Health Team in Greater Manchester who are seeking a Deputy Team Manager to join their service on a temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a practitioner looking to step into a leadership role or bring established management experience to a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, and support to a multi-disciplinary adult mental health team.

*

Support the Team Manager in delivering high-quality, person-centred mental health care.

*

Allocate and monitor caseloads, ensuring effective risk management and safeguarding.

*

Act as a point of escalation for complex cases and provide clinical and professional guidance.

*

Contribute to service development and quality improvement aligned with national standards.

*

Collaborate with health, social care, and voluntary partners to deliver integrated, recovery-focused support.

*

Maintain accurate records and performance data to meet service targets.

Requirements:

*

Social Work England registration (essential)

*

Substantial post-qualification experience in adult mental health services

*

Previous supervisory or management experience (desirable)

*

Strong understanding of mental health legislation, safeguarding, and the Care Act

Additional Information:

*

Hybrid working: Minimum of 3 days per week in the office

*

Full-time hours: Monday to Friday

*

Start date: ASAP

*

Pay: Competitive and negotiable based on experience
