Newly Qualified Architect - Bespoke Residential Projects

My client is looking for a newly qualified Architect to join their team, working on high-end bespoke private residential projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual seeking a rewarding career in a dynamic and creative environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will be involved in delivering bespoke residential projects across all RIBA work stages, from concept to completion. You should have a strong design ability, an eye for detail, and a solid understanding of UK construction detailing and regulations. Experience in residential detailing is desirable, and familiarity with high-end bespoke projects would be an advantage.

You must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. While experience with ArchiCAD is beneficial, it is not essential, as training will be provided. An interest in traditional and classical architecture is welcome but not required.

Key Responsibilities

* Delivering high-quality residential projects across all RIBA work stages.

* Preparing technical drawings and detailed designs in accordance with UK planning and building regulations.

* Engaging with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to bring bespoke projects to life.

* Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

* Applying a practical problem-solving approach to design challenges.

Key Requirements

* A strong design portfolio with excellent attention to detail.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult confidently with clients and project teams.

* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

* A thorough understanding of UK planning policies, building regulations, and construction methods.

* Experience with residential detailing and knowledge of building contracts.

* Familiarity with traditional and classical architectural concepts is an advantage.

* Willingness to travel within the UK when required.
