About the roleThis role is part of an expanding Credit Risk Delivery team. There is an exciting change agenda over the next few years with new products and features leading to plenty of opportunities for learning and growth. The evolution will include the implementation of a new Credit Risk decision system which will unlock huge growth potential for the Mortgage business and beyond.We are looking for a new Senior Lending Policy Specialist to be part of this exciting journey.The role covers all the end-to-end tasks required in the Credit Risk Change Management process for Mortgages, with a key focus on the decision engine management change moving forwards.Collaboration is key in this role and engagement with colleagues around the business is essential, so we can clearly articulate expectations around implementation, issue resolution and delivery timescales.We also want to support the learning journey and full training in the key Risk systems and testing procedures with be provided.Closing date: 12th July - We reserve the right to close this advert early if we receive a high volume of suitable applications.Hybrid Working: 1 to 2 days a week in the Coventry office.What we offer: https://about-us/what-we-offer.aspxRequirement to support out of hours releasesAbout youTo be successful in this role we will being looking for to demonstrate the following requirements:A good understanding and experience of Credit Risk decision systems, coding, testing and validation.An understanding of Credit Risk Management strategies, approaches, lending criteria and procedures (Scorecards, Rules, Affordability Model, Bureau data etc.)Experience of Mortgage lending policy, strategy development and management, and relevant regulatory requirements.An intermediate level of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointAbility to produce technical writing in a high-quality documentationCan demonstrate excellent organisational skills and an ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.If you feel you can align your experience and skills with our requirements, please make an application to effectively demonstrate your suitability for the role.About usAs a mutual, we’ve always worked together to improve the lives of others.
