Our client is a well established accountancy practice based near Westcliff on sea, Essex.

Due to ongoing growth, they are keen to bring on board a Semi Senior Accountant with at least 2 years practice experience.

They offer a full range of accounting services to their clients, who include sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies. Working as part of a small and friendly team, your key duties will include:Preparing accountsTax computationsPreparing VAT returnsPreparing personal and corporate tax returnsBookkeeping and management accountsStatutory work

Reviewing the work of junior staff and assisting with their training

This a varied role within a well-established business and offers a relaxed and friendly working environment.The right person will need to be a team player, capable of managing their own workload but also happy to help out other staff as necessary. An experienced Semi-Senior Accountant with previous experience of working in accountancy practice and an AAT qualification or ACCA trainee would be an ideal candidate, though anyone who is confident in putting together a set of accounts within a practice environment is encouraged to apply. Full study support is available for ACCA or AAT if desired.

The hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 9-5.30 and Fridays 9-4.30.
