Aspire People are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join an outstanding ASD school in Birmingham, starting April 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and make a significant impact on their communication development in a supportive and specialized environment.

Aspire People are looking for a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services. The role involves assessing and supporting students' speech, language, and communication needs, as well as working closely with the school's multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement tailored strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct detailed assessments of students' speech, language, and communication needs.
* Develop and deliver personalized therapy plans and interventions to support students' communication development.
* Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to support children with ASD.
* Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the therapy is embedded in the classroom environment.
* Provide advice and training to staff on speech and language strategies to enhance communication in the school setting.
* Monitor and review progress regularly, adapting therapy plans as necessary.

Requirements:
* A qualified Speech and Language Therapist with a relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
* HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration.
* Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex communication needs.
* Strong knowledge of communication strategies and therapy interventions for children with ASD.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a multi-disciplinary environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* All candidates must have an enhanced DBS on the update service.
