An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s leading property providers as a Data Modeller, playing a key role in shaping enterprise-wide data structures and strategies. This role offers the chance to drive impactful data solutions, ensuring data integrity, interoperability, and enhanced decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain business information/data models, including master and reference data management.
• Define key data objects, relationships, and business rules to support enterprise-wide data strategy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align data models with business needs, ensuring seamless system integration.
• Support data engineering teams by providing logical and dimensional models for BI and analytics.
• Drive data literacy by developing and promoting glossaries, dictionaries, and data policies.
• Contribute to the adoption of national and industry data standards.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in data modelling and data architecture, with expertise in DAMA framework and Kimball/Inmon methodologies.
• Proficiency in Data Modelling tools like ERWIN, with experience designing complex entity-relationship (E-R) and data warehouse models.
• Experience in SQL database management, data lakes, and star schema design.
• Solid understanding of master data management, metadata management, and data governance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to translate complex data concepts into business-friendly terms.
• Familiarity with BI & analytics, IT systems architecture, and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
