We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide essential support to students, helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students with SEMH needs in the classroom and during school activities.
Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet individual student needs.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, focusing on their academic, emotional, and social development.
Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering students' confidence and self-esteem.
Work closely with the wider school team, including SENCO, teachers, and external agencies, to create tailored support plans for each student.
Monitor and report on students' progress, identifying any additional support they may need.Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs, either in an educational setting or other relevant environments.
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting young people.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
