- Daily Salary: £162.31 - £207.38, depending on experience
We are seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a vibrant school in the Chorley area. This full-time, temporary position is to cover maternity leave from February 2025 until July 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for a class of 27 enthusiastic students, guiding them through an important stage of their educational journey.
Day-to-day of the role: - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons that meet the curriculum standards.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic and personal development.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and external bodies to support student success.
- Implement classroom management strategies that foster a constructive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching at the primary level, specifically Year 4, is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and current educational practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire young learners.
