Electrical Design Engineer

£400+ per day

A growing engineering firm is seeking experienced Electrical Design Engineers to support ongoing projects and modular builds. This role is an excellent long term opportunity for skilled professionals to work within a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring designs meet industry and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee design aspects of projects from handover to completion.
• Liaise with engineers and managers to produce CAD drawings.
• Compile design specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Generate design deliverables supported by other disciplines.
• Conduct design checks and approvals.
• Complete procurement Bills of Materials (BoM) for purchasing.
• Handle project change procedures and provide programme feedback.
• Take responsibility for allocated projects when required.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures.

Requirements

• Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience in electrical design within relevant industries.
• Experience working within a multi-discipline engineering team.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Electrical design software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong design and technical skills with great attention to detail.
