Martin Anthony, a specialist recruiter, is partnering with a manufacturer boasting a proud heritage in their search for an experienced Quality Manager.

Quality Manager Overview:

Are you passionate about maintaining the highest standards of quality in manufacturing? In this key leadership role, you'll ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements, driving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining the highest levels of product and process quality, safety, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Quality Management System (QMS) Leadership:

* Develop, implement, and maintain the aerospace quality management system in line with AS9100 or other relevant standards.

* Ensure all quality processes and procedures meet regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and industry best practices.

* Lead internal and external audits to assess compliance and identify improvement opportunities.

Quality Assurance and Control:

* Establish and enforce quality assurance measures throughout the product lifecycle, from design and development to production and delivery.

* Conduct inspections, audits, and reviews to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.

* Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address non-conformities and improve quality performance.

Supplier Quality Management:

* Evaluate and approve suppliers and subcontractors based on their ability to meet quality requirements and performance expectations.

* Monitor supplier performance through regular assessments, audits, and corrective action plans.

* Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve supplier quality management processes.

Continuous Improvement:

* Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

* Lead quality improvement projects and root cause analysis efforts to address systemic issues and drive process excellence.

* Establish KPIs and metrics to track quality performance and drive accountability.

Regulatory Compliance:

* Stay updated on changes in aerospace regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements related to quality management.

* Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, ITAR requirements, and other applicable aerospace quality regulations.

* Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance in all aspects of operations.

Leadership and Team Development:

* Lead, direct, and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

* Develop talent within the team through training, coaching, and performance management initiatives.

* Promote a strong sense of quality ownership and responsibility across all levels of the organization.
