Job Advert: Contract Electrical Fitter (Shotton, Papermill)

We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Electrical Fitter for a prominent position at a large Papermill in Shotton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to join a dynamic team working on essential electrical systems.

Location: Shotton, Papermill
Contract Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within the papermill.
Work on both HV (High Voltage) and LV (Low Voltage) switchgear.
Ensure electrical systems are operating to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and issues promptly.
Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience working with HV and LV switchgear.
Qualified Electrical Fitter with relevant industry certifications.
Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience within the industrial or manufacturing sector (ideally papermills or similar).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
