Key Responsibilities as a HLTA in an SEN School in Enfield:

• Classroom Leadership: Cover the classroom in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring a seamless continuation of learning.
• Team Management: Manage and support other Teaching Assistants in the classroom, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
• Individualised Support: Work closely with students, offering tailored assistance to meet their unique needs and learning goals.
• Lesson Delivery: Assist in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
• Administrative Duties: Assist with administrative tasks, such as maintaining student records and preparing learning materials.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HLTA or similar role within an SEN setting.
• Strong understanding of SEN best practices and inclusive education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team of Teaching Assistants.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to respond effectively to changing situations.
• Relevant qualifications, such as HLTA status or equivalent.
