Experienced Door Engineer - Milton Keynes / Luton/Northampton/Aylesbury/Stevenage
Salary negotiable depending on experience ( training given for the right candidate)
My client is a family run business that offers service, installation and repair to all types of industrial and commercial roller shutters,access gates, the area they cover are from the Midlands to London and the South East of England.
Due to continual growth and expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced and skilled Roller Shutter/Industrial Door Engineer to join their team to carry out installations, repairs and maintenance to all types of roller shutters, sectional doors, industrial doors.
They are happy to consider candidates with a general understanding of the industry, maybe an engineers assistant who wants to take the next step and become an engineer themselves.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Installing, repairing and maintaining industrial doors
- Installing, repairing and maintaining all types of roller shutters/sectional doors.
- Installing, repairing manual doors
- Working in a team, as well as independently
- Fault finding
Candidate Requirements:
- Professional, organised, flexible, diligent and conscientious
- Good communication skills
- Previous field service experience within the industry, although we would consider motivated/mechanically skilled engineers
- Good knowledge and experience with all types of industrial and commercial roller shutter doors
- Experience with manual doors
- Automatic door and door entry system experience would be a great advantage (but not essential)
- Mechanical Engineering skills
- Electrical skills
- CSCS Card
- Able to work overtime
- Drivers License
- Pass a CRB check
-DHF accreditation preferred but not essential
They are offering an excellent package including a company van, power tools, mobile phone, pension, training and progression.
Wages to be discussed based on knowledge and experience
Overtime will be paid at 1 1/2
Maybe occasional nights away when required.
