Key Responsibilities

* Prepare detailed cost estimates and analyses across a variety of projects.

* Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are achieved.

* Collaborate with procurement teams to secure competitive tender pricing.

* Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project costs.

* Engage with clients to understand their budgets and deliver cost-effective solutions.

* Monitor expenditures and provide comprehensive financial reports, including final account agreements.

* Support and mentor junior team members, fostering growth and development.

Ideal Candidate Profile

* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

* Proven experience in cost management, particularly in leisure, residential, or industrial sectors.

* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

* Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

* Proficiency in software like MS Excel and Cost-X.

* Membership in a professional body (e.g., RICS) is a bonus but not essential.
