Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a dedicated HLTA to join our vibrant primary school in Stockport. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to play a key role in delivering high-quality education and providing PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) cover across the school.

The Higher Level Teaching Assistant Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:

* Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons to classes across all year groups during teacher PPA time.

* Provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups to ensure all children make progress.

* Assist in the planning and delivery of the curriculum alongside teachers.

* Support children with a range of needs, including SEND, to access their learning.

* Mark and assess pupils' work in line with school policies.

* Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of all pupils.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.

* Previous experience working in a primary school setting.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.

* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

* A flexible and proactive approach to your work.

* A commitment to promoting the school's values and fostering a love of learning.
