Conference & Events Sales Executive

Do you have Event sales experience? Would you like to develop your experience in a reactive Venue sales role?

De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in Holborn, is seeking a Conference & Events Sales Executive to join our team.

In return you will receive a salary of £26,200 per annum and excellent benefits including £50.00 staff stays with De Vere Hotels, complimentary use of our extensive leisure facilities and a paid day off to celebrate on your birthday to name just a few!

As our Conference & Events Sales Executive you will report to the Director of Meetings & Events and help create professional relationships with new corporate and agency clients, promoting the properties' Meeting and Corporate Event facilities. The role will involve:

• Conducting appointments to showcase the hotel facilities and generate enquiries for future business.
• Taking bookings and successfully planning meetings and events as per the venue and De Vere standards
• Upselling all Conference & Events Equipment, Food and Beverage and other venue facilities when taking bookings.
• Assisting the Director of Meetings & Events with key projects and campaigns

Your skills and experience

• Event sales/planning experience or proactive sales experience from within the hospitality sector such as Hotels, Restaurants or event venues
• Excellent communication, organisation and presentation skills to be able to positively represent De Vere
