JB389: Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Location: East Kilbride

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Quantity Surveyor:

Manage project costs to optimize value and minimize liabilities.
Oversee the placement of subcontractors and ensure compliance with contracts and agreements.
Prepare final accounts, cash flow forecasts, and compile financial data for reporting.
Attend progress meetings and collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.
Undertake monthly cost reporting to track project financial performance.
Contribute to project delivery and support continuous improvement initiatives within the company.
Skills and Qualifications for the Quantity Surveyor:

A strong passion for professional development and training in a dynamic company.
Proven experience working for a main contractor in a similar role.
Experience in fast track fit-outs, preferably within the retail sector.
Excellent IT and communication skills.
A professional attitude with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Ability to analyse financial information and produce accurate reports.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
