We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a large residential developer with an impressive portfolio of projects and secured land in Kent and Sussex for the next 2 to 3 years.

The Role: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be integral to the successful delivery of residential projects, ensuring that all financial aspects are managed effectively. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will contribute directly to the growth and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.

* Oversee the procurement process, including negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.

* Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reporting to senior management.

* Conduct risk assessments and implement cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.

* Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure alignment on project goals.

* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the residential construction sector.

* Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.

* Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Effective communication and negotiation skills.

* Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
